Our deep slumber is all we care about after an exhausting day at work don’t we?

Just like you, I don’t compromise on my highly cherished baby sleep.

Adding the Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow was quite a modification to my bedroom and it has changed the way I used to envisage my mornings.

In this blog, I will be giving you my most honest review as to why you should definitely opt for this product.

Why should you buy the Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow?

As I mentioned, Sobakawa is a must to add to your cart while opting for a pillow.

All Natural Pillow

And here are the reasons why:

  1. Normal Buckwheat Pillows are made available to you starting at 50$. Compared to other companies, Sobakawa Pillows start at 24.99$ which is almost half of all the other competitors. Thus making it exceptionally affordable.
  2. They are bad conductors of heat therefore it does not become hot and allows air to circulate through the pillow at all times.
  3. Helps you to feel energized and rejuvenated after a long good night’s sleep.
  4. It is extremely durable and long-lasting compared to the classic average cotton pillow. It should last you a good 10 years if proper care is taken.
  5. Very comfortable for a long drive or a long sleep.
  6. It has a scent provided by the company which helps you relax in your slumber.
  7. The shape and size of the pillow allow your neck and spine to be aligned in a straight line which helps you get rid of the back and the neck problems you have faced all your life.
  8. It is resistant to dust mites and bug beds as the Buckwheat Hulls have no nutritional value for the common bugs.
  9. Keeps you away from the allergies and unwanted diseases associated with dust mites found in the cotton pillows.
  10. Cervical and lumbar problems can be treated.
  11. Helps in reducing the stress of your spine and neck, waking you up to better mornings.
  12. Offers firm and sturdy support.
  13. There are no harmful chemicals or toxins which you would otherwise breath in the traditional cotton pillow.

Features of Sobakawa Pillow

  • Rundown

Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillows are not the classic Pillows you have been using till now. These Pillows have an origin in the Japanese civilization (around 600 years ago) who discovered the tremendous benefits of using Buckwheat hulls in their bedding.

They subsequently started stuffing the Buckwheat Hulls in their pillowcases as well. More than 70 million Japanese are using buckwheat hull pillows and have been using them for many decades.

Many people in Japan have claimed that the buckwheat pillows have solved their snoring problems, migraines, and sinuses.

Slowly due to its high-quality grade, it started spreading across the globe and its popularity shot up within no time.

Comfortable and soft

  • Material and Making

Buckwheat is a plant that is cultivated for its grain-like seeds and is used in our daily foods.

The Hulls are the outer shells that house the Buckwheat grains. The concave shape of the hulls allows the air to circulate freely and thus keep the pillow cool. It helps to regulate the temperature and keeps your head cool in the summers and warm in the winters.

The cotton pillows which are traditionally used in every other household are vulnerable to dust mites which makes you susceptible to various allergies.

But as the Buckwheat Hulls have no nutritional value in them, they don’t attract the common bed bugs and thus are allergy-free.

Contrary to the classic Pillows these do not have a zipper. That means you won’t be able to adjust the number of Hulls in it.

So, a perfect amount of hulls are engineered into the pillowcases to provide you with the beauty sleep you desire.

  • Subjective problem: Buckwheat pillows are firm and sturdy which may not be the requirement for certain customers.

Comparison: The Ultimate WHY?

It’s time for you to get rid of your traditional cotton pillows and swoop in and grab the buckwheat pillow, for it has massive advantages over it. The bulky and puffy cotton pillows have caused you enough problems over the years.

The abounding volume of the cotton pillow has disrupted your otherwise healthy posture.

The Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow is designed specifically for your cervical and lumbar problems.

They have been engineered to the exact dimensions to keep your neck and the vertebral column in one line.

You don’t have to worry about inhaling harmful chemicals and toxins which is a major problem in cotton pillows.

The Buckwheat Pillows have a spring-like effect under compression and are firm and sturdy when you lay your head on them. Cotton pillows do not provide such versatility.

Want to use it while you drive or place it on your office chair to keep a good posture? Or maybe use it while doing Yoga?

The Buckwheat Pillows are the solution to all your problems. The cotton in the traditional pillows starts moving in either direction from where you place your head which creates an enormous gap right in the middle of the pillow.

This is not a big concern in the buckwheat pillow. You just shake your pillow a little bit and there it is, all new and ready to use.

The cotton pillows deteriorate over a short period of time, unlike the Buckwheat Pillow which has an enduring capacity of a whopping 10 years.

My Personal Experience On Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow

Using The Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow has just managed to change the way I feel when I wake up in the mornings.

To avoid the neck problems I have been facing my whole life, my chiropractor told me that the neck and the spine should be more in alignment while you are asleep. And he suggested that I use a Buckwheat Pillow.

So, I ordered the Sobakawa Pillow online and it got delivered to me in three days. When I unboxed the parcel, it appeared very clean and was sealed in plastic.

Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow Review

Viewing it for the first time it seemed to be a bit smaller than the average-sized pillow which made me a little skeptical. The outer pillow cover was soft and comfortable.

Kazu Watanabe“, Ph.D., Doctor of Oriental Medicine authored the helpful brochure, which was inside the box. The brochure stated that the pillow can be used in nine alternative ways that best suit your needs.

Apparently, we can use it while driving for some lower back support, you can fix it on your office chair which will help you maintain a proper posture throughout your time in front of your laptop and also while doing yoga.

You may as well wrap it in plastic and stick it in the freezer during the hot summer days to keep your head calm and cool.

It takes me a long and weary drive to reach my office, so I decided to try it on in my car.

To my surprise, as mentioned in the brochure, it held up to its mark and helped me maintain a good posture throughout my drive.

For the first few minutes I strived a bit to fix it behind my back but after a while, I enjoyed the smooth drive all along. The hulls did make the soft rattling sound at first but with time the sound got unnoticed.

Coming back to what my Chiropractor said brought the Sobakawa Pillow in my bedroom.

I realized that this pillow has the exact size which allows me to keep my neck and the spine in a straight line and helps me get rid of my sore neck.

Researchers and reports from scientists have shown that you happen to have a sore neck because of the big size of the pillow you choose for yourself.

Now with the Buckwheat Pillow, you don’t have to worry about waking up with throbbing pain.

After this subtle change, it makes me feel a lot more rejuvenated and energized in the mornings. Ultimately the fresh mornings have brought a decent glow to my skin and it has become a lot better than it used to be.

Also, my cervical and lumbar issues have been well treated and long gone. Ciao neck problems!

Sobakawa Customer Reviews & Testimonials

  • K Matalavage.

I got EVERYONE hooked on this pillow, it’s so heavenly to sleep on, I love it!

The only thing is that I’ve been obsessed with it, the firmness is starting to go away after 4 months, but I still love it.

  • B Rosemary.

I love this pillow. It has helped me to avoid headaches. I have tried dozens of other pillows. Specialty pillows…

Even from Dr.s, they worked for a few days then the headaches would get worse. This pillow has been wonderful for months now. Time to order another one. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Sherry.

I use it for my feet that hurt so bad at night. I can lay them on the pillow and it distributes the weight and I can get my feet just right. I do have my bed covers raised at the feet to relieve pressure on feet.

I gave for stars because the cover fits a little snug and keeps it firmer. I had to take the cover and use it as a small for misc items in the washing machine. Nice quality. Don’t how I would like under my ear hearing the microbeads move.

  •  Val Steeves.

I suffer from severe headaches with neck and shoulder problems. A home health care nurse told me about the Sobakawa pillow several years ago, and I’ve been using them ever since.

They are very comfortable and accomodating all my pains. As an added bonus, my cats like them too.

  •  Lauren Olsen.

Yes, the pillow is small. Yes, the pillow takes a good 2-3 weeks to break in. Yes, if you are looking for a pillow that looks nice on your bed, this is not it. No, you will not find a better pillow.

As a stomach sleeper, I need a flat pillow that’s soft and moldable to my head. The Sobakawa fits the bill perfectly. Lasts ~2 years before needing to be replaced.

  • Natasha Kennedy.

I have been using this pillow for a couple of years now. It stays cool. Doesn’t bother my neck at night.

The only downfall for me was I should have looked for a bigger size because it is rather small in size. Really like it though.
